Once you’re accepted, your spot in the program is secured, so there’s no need to wait months for confirmation. This gives you more time to focus on the exciting journey ahead and prepare for the life-changing experiences that await you.

6 STEPS TO STUDY ABROAD EXPERIENCE

1.CHOOSE A DESTINATION, UNIVERSITY, AND PROGRAM

Pick a global destination, university, and program that suits your academic goals and personal interests.

Tip: If you're already enrolled in a higher education institution, discuss your study abroad plans with them early. Look at the courses available at your chosen destination and develop a study plan to ensure that the credits earned abroad can be applied to your degree at home.

 

2.SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Once you've chosen your destination, gather the required documents specific to your chosen university or program. Contact our advisor for application documents. Please check the application instructions carefully.

In your application, indicate whether you plan to study for one or two semesters, or complete a full degree. You can also apply to study at multiple universities or destinations if you wish to spend a full year abroad.

 

3.CONFIRMATION OF STUDY PLACEMENT

Within 1–3 business days of receiving your application, you'll receive an email confirming your study abroad placement and detailed instructions for next steps.

 

4.PREPARE FOR YOUR JOURNEY

After receiving your confirmation, it’s time to start planning! Use resources like the student checklist and accommodation guides to help you get ready.

Keep in mind, you won't be able to apply for a student visa until you receive the official acceptance letter from your host university.

 

5.PAY TUITION, GET ACCEPTANCE LETTER, AND APPLY FOR VISA

Approximately 2.5 months before your program begins, you’ll receive an invoice for your tuition fee. Along with the payment details, your official acceptance letter from the university will be sent about one month before the start of the semester.

Use this official acceptance letter to apply for your student visa. Visa processing times can vary depending on your destination, so allow several weeks for processing.

 

6.ARRIVAL AND ORIENTATION

Once you have your student visa, you’re ready to embark on your journey! Arrive in time for the orientation session at your host university, where you’ll get all the information you need to settle in.
